Whowsers!  What a weekend.  It's been a busy few days for this little duck but I'm so excited to remind you of my Gentle Body Cleanse which starts Monday!

Before I dive into that – did you see all the fun I got up to on the weekend?  I spent the majority at the FitX event here in Melbourne.  I was also lucky enough to speak at the Feed Your Soul event here in Melbourne alongside the two beauties – Ashy Bines and Nicole Joy.  I had a blast.  But oh so tired now!

Which is why I'm so looking forward to this round of cleansing – my body is screaming for some lovin' and I'm so in need of a good clean and some attention – I do hope you are joining in the fun.  You might remember I wrote a post a few weeks back as to why cleansing will help to sort out your hormones and get your body firing along.  Cleansing is the key to happy hormones and hormone balance.  If you missed that – check this out.

Good Food Friday: My veggie stir fry

Good Food Friday :: My cleansing spritzer

With the festive season well and truly behind us, it's time to cleanse that little liver and continue to repair and replenish that wonderful body of yours.  So today, I'm sharing my cleansing spritzer!

This recipe is one of the new menu additions in the upcoming Gentle Body Cleanse.  Have you registered and signed up yet?  Best you hop to it!  Not long now and we'll be diving into 5 days to a totally new you!

  • 100ml coconut water
  • 100ml mineral water
  • 20ml pomegranate juice OR 1/2 a pomegranate 
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon or lime
  • Few sprigs of Mint
  • Coconut sugar to taste (optional – if you're a sweet tooth!) 

Combine and garnish (with mint) and add ice if necessary (remember your insides don't love the cold).

I know this much.  We need to be drinking filtered water.  And I know a little more.  We need to drink filtered water because some of the crapola stuff in our water is hurting our hormones far more than a swift kick to the shins (ouch!) and really, affecting our overall wellness.  In my second Debunking Ovulation event in Sydney, we got into a pretty cool discussion with Jo from Shop Naturally (you've met her here before) who was able to give my audience the total rundown on the benefits of filtration systems and dig deeper into why it is so very important you consider adding one to your health regime.  You see, toxins in our waters can mimic oestrogen, but what's more, unfiltered water can also contain traces of the pill and antibiotics.  Such bad news!  So I've asked Jo to nut it out for us today – not only has she got it all covered and then some, but she's leaving us with an offer we can put to use to help us be healthier and SAVE!  Plus – it would be the icing on the cake to learn about this moving into the Gentle Body Cleanse (are you joining me?).
